LOCAL TRANSPORTATION

There are such kinds of transport: buses, trolleybuses, fixed-route taxi, city taxi and private car service. The city has wide net of routes: trolleybuses have 14 routes and more than 20 routes have buses. Trolleybuses and buses often have the same routes, especially in the center oft he city. The stops are situated not far from each other, the time of waiting is 3 - 8 minutes.

There are the numbers of trolleybus routes in the center of the city: 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8; of buses: 15, 25, 26, 28; of fixed-route taxi: 5, 8.

Trolleybuses and buses start working at 5.00 and finish their work at 24.00. Private fixed-route taxi work 24 hours. The transportation fare in the buses is higher (5 rubles) than in trolleybuses (4 rubles). The tickets are sold by a conductor and month tickets are also available but only in trolleybuses.

You can call a taxi using payphone. The calling cards for payphone are available in kiosk "Rospechat", in the postoffice, in the hotels and supermarkets.
